Summary: This movie is about Lyra, a precocious girl who goes off on a journey to rescue her friend Roger when he is taken by the Gobblers. She and her daemon, Pantalaimon (an animal manifestation of part of her soul) end up in the far North.
Evaluation: This book series is a spiritually meaningful journey for readers of all ages. In the last book, The Amber Spyglass, Lyra and Will begin a relationship together; sex is implied.
Age Level: 10+
