Summary: This is another terrific work of Roald Dahl's imagination as Grandmama speaks of children that she knew who had been killed by witches.Her grandson Robert ends up in the middle of a witch convention and the two of them have to use all of their wiles to escape unscathed.
Evaluation: This book has been banned simply because it presents witches (and therefore women) in a negative light. One of the complaints from children about this book is that it's scary, so it's important to make sure they know it's a work of fantasy.
